CJC-1295
What is CJC-1295?
CJC-1295 is a synthetic peptide that acts as a growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analog. It is often used in the field of sports medicine and bodybuilding as a performance-enhancing drug due to its ability to stimulate the release of growth hormone from the pituitary gland.
The “CJC” in CJC-1295 stands for “modified GRF (1-29)”, which refers to the fact that the peptide is a modified version of the naturally occurring GHRH peptide. The “1295” in the name refers to the fact that the peptide has been modified to include 29 amino acids, with an additional 15 amino acids added to the N-terminus to improve its stability. Research shows that after the age of 30 the body’s growth hormone level drops quickly and approximately 15% every 10 years.
CJC-1295 is able to increase growth hormone naturally by binding to receptors for growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) on your brain and more specifically the pituitary gland. By doing this it triggers the brain to release growth hormone that would have otherwise been lost with age.
