Ipamorelin
What is Ipamorelin?
Ipamorelin is a synthetic peptide that acts as a growth hormone secretagogue, meaning it stimulates the release of growth hormone from the pituitary gland. It is a pentapeptide composed of five amino acids: Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2.
Ipamorelin works by binding to specific receptors in the pituitary gland called growth hormone secretagogue receptors (GHSRs), which triggers the release of growth hormone. Unlike other growth hormone-releasing peptides, Ipamorelin does not stimulate the release of cortisol or prolactin, which can
have negative effects on the body.
Ipamorelin is primarily used for its potential therapeutic benefits in the fields of sports medicine, bodybuilding, and anti-aging. It has been shown to increase muscle mass, improve recovery time after exercise, and reduce body fat. It may also have neuroprotective effects and has been studied for its
potential in the treatment of certain medical conditions, such as growth hormone deficiency and osteoporosis.
